Freedom Lifestyle Career: How to Create

How to Create your Freedom Lifestyle Career

I’ve always resisted the thought of working full-time in a job I don’t love. But I don’t mind spending a lot of time doing things I’m really passionate about. How about you? Do you have enough time to do the things you love, often with the people you care about? That’s where a freedom lifestyle career opens doors.

Fortunately, I’ve always found a way to keep a good balance between a secular part-time job and friends, family and my passions. It even became better since I started my education to build an online business. As a result, I became my own happy boss by investing in a ticket to more freedom!

So what are some secrets to creating more freedom in and around your career? Let’s look at some useful tips to create your own freedom lifestyle career.

  • Don’t live to work
  • Set the right priorities
  • Design your own lifestyle
  • Be modest
  • Work from a tablet or laptop
  • Be your own boss online

Don’t live to work

First of all: work to live, not the other way round. Now, there’s nothing wrong with being passionate about your job. But are you working so much that there’s almost no time left for other things like family, friends, sleep, health, and recreation? Then it’s time to use your brakes, stand still, overview your values and priorities, and recalibrate.

When your focus is on material things, you won’t find lasting freedom nor happiness. Why? Because true wealth does not mean expensive stuff or money.

Are you worried about your income not being enough for some extras? Then keep this in mind: a low income may be restrictive, but more money with less time left won’t make you feel freer either! So try to keep the balance between work and relaxation.

Set the right priorities

From time to time we need to investigate ourselves and ask questions like:

  • What are my values in life and work?
  • Where do I give most of my attention to? To priorities or to things that are less important?
  • How much time do I spend on personal development and spirituality?
  • When do I recharge my batteries?

In other words, it’s important to examine ourselves on a regular basis. We get so many stimuli these days that we are easily brought out of our course without notice.

Design your own lifestyle

What is Lifestyle design exactly? It’s about creating the situations you desire. It means that you use your power to become a creative architect of your life. So you can choose how to live your own life. Doesn’t that sound as a big step to more freedom?

Gathering wealth through lifestyle rather than through material stuff is an important key to freedom of unnecessary worries and burdens. After all, creating a freedom lifestyle career is more about creating your own lifestyle than about earning money

A wealthy lifestyle should include:

  • Put time aside to do fun things
  • create time for personal development
  • Invest time in spirituality
  • Spend time with loved ones
  • Give your time and help others

As you can see, lifestyle design is related to how you spend your time. Concerning time management we’re all equal. Every one of us has received 24 hours a day. Up to you how you’ll use it…

Don’t bite off more than you can chew.

Many people think that by doing more they’ll reach more. But that’s not always the case. A full schedule can really be a heavy weight on your shoulders. It can even slow you down instead of pushing you forward.

It’s wise and modest to draw a line under the most important things on your to-do list. Don’t stuff it with so many tasks your list takes control over you instead of you taking control of your day.

Insert empty moments. You’ll need them. Often unexpected situations or extra duties can present themselves. When you have no buffer time you’ll get stressed because of time pressure. And when you do have some time left, use it wisely. Maybe some less urgent tasks can be done. Or if you’re in the possibility, use that time to relax.

It’s important that you stay the boss of your time, or time will become YOUR boss. Being a slave by trying to keep up with time is not exactly a key to freedom.

Work from your laptop or tablet

Now, we all need an income. Unfortunately, we can’t escape that. But we can be creative in the way we provide that income. Most people can’t choose their location for the job they already have. However, with the internet more and more possibilities appear. This gives much more freedom of location!

Working from home or from a device makes you also save time in traffic. Where I live people lose many hours a week – even a day – being stuck in traffic. That’s valuable time and freedom unrecoverably lost!

Are you’re looking for a way out to work on the internet from the comfort of your own home? Then look for a free online workshop. You’ll find a bunch of them!

Be your own boss online

You might think that starting an online business on your own is not for you. Maybe you think: I’m too old, I’m too long stuck in my current job, I’m not technical enough, I’m not smart enough to learn new silks, and so on… But you’re only too old, stuck, not technical or not smart enough when you THINK you are.

In fact, the human brain is created to learn new things over and over again. So age or IQ are in most cases just an excuse. Don’t get rusted in a job you don’t like and that really limits your freedom because of some limiting belief!

If you think you need to be very technical or an expert in website building, I can comfort you… You don’t! These days there’s a lot of education and ready to use applications available on the internet. You’ll be amazed at the possibilities the internet offers to create more freedom in your career and lifestyle!

Start thinking about all the possibilities that being your own boss could open. Not only would it untie you from the 9-to-5 workweek, but it would give you opportunities to recreate your days and weeks. This could be the beginning of a new mindset to more freedom. So start today building your own freedom lifestyle career, and you’ll be some BIG steps closer to the life of your desire!
